Longleat Stately Home and Longleat Safari Park.

This beautiful example of Elizabethan architecture is situated within nearly one thousand acres of beautiful Wiltshire parkland, which was once landscaped by England’s greatest gardener and landscape architect, Capability Brown.

Longleat House was opened to the public by the 7th Marquee of bath and the House Tours are simply magnificent and not to be missed.

Longleat is not only a superb example of an English Stately Home, but thanks to the innovative thinking and vision of the 7th Marquee, Longleat also became the first safari park outside of Africa, opening in 1966.

The wild animals of Longleat Safari Park have acres and acres of countryside to roam in, and are lovingly cared for by the Longleat Safari team who became famous themselves during the filming of the BBC documentary “Animal Park”, about the keepers and animals of Longleat Safari Park, and the staff of Longleat House.
