Woodpecker Lodge has been named after the local Woodpecker which can often be seen and heard in the surrounding gardens. With many beautiful and unspoilt walks nearby and a wealth of birds and wildlife, this is the ideal place to relax and unwind.

With a lovely veranda running the length of the lodge, you can enjoy the view or soak up the sun. It is also a wonderful place to relax at the end of a fun filled day.

The Woodpecker Lodge is ideally located for exploring both Somerset, and Wiltshire, with its wealth of attractions, but if you decide to stay in we have some fabulous facilities including, an onsite high tech games room and a play area for children of all ages to enjoy.

A warm welcome awaits you at Purbeck Holiday Lets, where upon your arrival you will receive a welcome pack, with a few essentials along with some helpful local information, to get you started on your self catering holiday.

There are no hidden extras, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. A Continental breakfast is offered upon request.

Inside.

Fully furnished to an exceptionally high standard, with two double bedrooms, one with a king sized bed and the other with two singles. Large living area with outstanding views, a gas log burner, TV, DVD, Wi-Fi Internet access. An extra bed is available in the form of a sofa bed in the lounge. Large fitted kitchen and breakfast area with dining table. The kitchen contains all modern conveniences including, cooker, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, tea, coffee, sugar, drying up cloths etc. Bathroom with shower. Centrally heated and double glazed, wood flooring throughout.

Outside.

Veranda providing the perfect place for fantastic alfresco dining, barbecue, bench table and chairs. Terrace to enjoy a leisurely morning breakfast or a glass of wine and an evening chat, enclosed landscaped garden with spectacular views of the local countryside and a relaxing outdoor hot tub which seats six.

Enclosed children's play area. Use of outdoor heated swimming pool. Separate games room, with table football, Wii and Arcade Machine. Separate laundry room with washing machine.
