Bath Festival 2018
Staying with us in Bath, live in Bath or just passing through Bath between the 11th and 27th May 2018? If you are, you really need to consider checking out The Bath Festival 2018!
Bath Festival? What is it?
The Bath Festival has been running for 70 years. The festivals consist of all sorts of musical performances, including some famous bands and singers, along with art expeditions, dance performances, comedy and a whole lot more! There really is something for everyone due to the well thought our mixture of talent the organisers have managed to secure this year!
Everything is spread across the City of Bath so you also get to do a bit of sightseeing! For example, there may be a comedian performing in a hotel, a band in the Assembly Rooms or dancing in Parade Gardens!
The Festival begins on the 11th May and finishes on the 27th May 2018. Any big names?
Due to it being the 70th Anniversary of the Bath Festival there are some really famous acts and stars that have been signed up this year. Any big names? Most of the big acts feature in the last few days of the Festival. Here are a few you can expect to see..
Sophie Ellis Baxter
Below is the official list of acts for the last two days of the festival..

What is the best way to travel to Bath?
We know Bath very well and we highly recommend that you do not drive! You will find it very difficult to find a parking space! Its hard enough to find a space on a normal day!
There is a Park & Ride available where you can park your car on the outskirts of Bath and get a Bus into the centre of the City. More information about this HERE
There are trains that stop in the City of Bath and you should be looking for the Bath Spa (BTH) when planning your route. Timetables can be found HERE This festival really is worth a visit but its really important that get yourself organised and make sure you have a good read of the events list. Plan your journey into Bath and book accommodation quick if you need to.
